Before you have people waste their time calling their reps in Congress, be aware of what war pigs the Democrats are. We know the Rethugs want to perpetuate the violence and keep the gravy train to the war industries running at full steam. But here’s where the so-called “opposition” party stands … https://x.com/cspan/status/2041918434041102484

Of course, John, I have no illusions about the Demoncrats either. However, seeing them squabble amongst themselves only makes the unviability of the SYSTEM more apparent. I have to remind people that it was Mr. Cool Obama, who empowered NAZIS to overthrow the government in Ukraine, resulting in that disaster. Not to mention the other atrocities committed by Bill Clinton's crime bill, and destruction of Yugoslavia, LBJ in Vietnam, Truman in Korea and his dropping the Bomb on Japanese civilians. I personally doubt that simple electoral politics will solve the problem of a culture based on genocide and slavery, not just in their past forms but also in their current forms.

Trump accepted the Iranian “conditions” either because he didn’t remember what they were or because he thought he could con and lie his way out of them until the US and Israel regrouped and prepared their ultimate, final attempt to destroy Iran. The cease fire is a fake and a tactical feign. Brian Berletic in the Rachel Blevins interview you included thoroughly and accurately laid out the real agenda. We shouldn’t be fooled by any of this.

As to your suggestion we call our congressmen, its clear and has been for decades these elected puppets to the ruling elite ARE NOT LISTENING TO US. Better to put our best energies to replacing them. There are 470 members of the House and Senate in November. 460 of them must be sent packing or nothing will ever change. Let’s stop deluding ourselves and get serious!

Yes, thank you. My boyfriend & I plan on watching the movie this weekend. We have been seriously discussing ex-patriating. I never thought I would feel this way. Thank you for your content.

Learned helplessness, as you spoke of with Regis, is pervasive here in the U.S., especially amoung Christians. The lack of moral outrage is astounding. U.S. actions and Americans inaction are shameful.

Thanks Tisha. Yes, there is a fatalistic attitude and it's not just among Christians. It's not enough for people to 'get mad as hell'. If you saw my other post about My Dinner with Andre, the people who run the media have deliberately created that attitude. We must see it for what it is, identify it and resist giving in.

Any known meditation fans who prefer meditating at night, while watching the Universe through telescopes ?

Seriously asking ...

If I were to think for myself (and guess), I'd say the answer must be negative: sleep deprivation can't possibly go well with meditation ...

I'm asking, nevertheless ...

P.S.

One-third of the way away from here, Orthodox Christians too are fatalistic (since ever!), even though the „communist” media ignored them for 45 years. Just to be specific: „The real life is not this one, it's the next one!”.
