The law requiring lawyers, accountants, fiduciaries, to file Suspicious Activity Reports on their clients—violating the clients’ 4th Amendment right to privacy
Creation of the Department of Homeland Security, essentially an internal military and police force against the American people
The 2008 financial crash spawned Occupy Wall Street, which was crushed by Obama using the Department of Homeland Security
It continued with American commentators on RT and Sputnik being sanctioned
Then those channels blocked in the US and other countries
US credit cards no longer work in Russia
Russia bank cards no longer work in the USA
In Thailand, bank accounts are becoming harder to open
2FA verification is becoming more difficult. Mobile phone required.
Access to online banking is becoming more restrictive in the US
News reporting of significant events is censored, or worse, falsified
George Soros created the idea and organization of “Open Society”, but used it to subvert target countries
Meanwhile we are told that our society is open but not other societies, even as the level of censorship and narrative control becomes more constricted
A ‘soft’ form of totalitarianism, but with all the elements in place for things to become far more repressive
