Back in 1957, there was a comedian, name Mort Sahl. I was just 9 years old at the time, but I remember his joke:

Consequences described: Erfani links the alleged project to widening economic inequality, erosion of democratic checks, climate and resource plunder, mass displacement/migration, and escalating militarism—presenting these as outcomes of an oligarchic, Zionist-aligned agenda. unz.com

The war in Ukraine drags on, much of Ukraine is freezing and in the dark, and while Russia is advancing steadily, there’s no end in site
Israeli genocide in Gaza and the Greater Israel project does proceed with constant attacks on Lebanon, Syria, undermining Somali sovereignty in Somaliland
War against Iran is a distinct possibility
The START treaty expires on February 5th, with apparently no effort to extend it per Russia’s offer.
