5 Big Victories: Vladimir Putin Wins Landslide Election

Western Attempts to Oust Vladimir Putin and Subjugate Russia Fail Again–Big Time!
Well, it’s really teeth gnashing time, big time. Vladimir Putin wins in a landslide election. It’s Putin’s 5th election win. And Uncle Sam, who’s been diligently trying to undermine the ‘evil dictator’ Vladimir Putin, has failed, with the Russian President re-elected yet again, and this time with an overwhelming 87% Yes vote, in a record 77% turnout.
The Communist Party, which usually comes in second in Russian elections, scored only about 4%. The next best result was the New People’s Party, which scored slightly less.
Here are three comments from Russian friends of mine.
One voted in favor of the candidate of the New People’s Party, because he is young and appears to have some fresh ideas.
My comment: This party is similar to the Libertarian Party of the USA, which promotes entrepreneurship and small government. The problem is that most people don’t want to be an entrepreneur. They want a stable job and a government that takes responsibility for its people. It abstained from supporting the Donbass people when they were attacked by Kiev fascists. Donetsk and Lugansk Peoples Republics were in imminent danger of being overrun, the people slaughtered and expelled from their homes.
Another friend, who has been critical of Putin because the war in Ukraine is taking too long, told me that some of his friends who are not political went to the polls and voted for Putin. This was after the Ukrainians shelled the Russian city of Belgorod for the umpteenth time.
My comment: The Ukrainians can’t win on the battlefield, so they fight civilians in a civilian city….Such heroes they are –”Slava Ukraini’, to quote their nationalist rhetoric, same as they yelled when their grandfathers fought along with the Nazis in WWII. These are the kind of vicious people Russia is fighting. And the Russian people seem to have gotten the message. Cynicism is out. Patriotism is in.
A third friend voted for the Communist Party candidate. During Soviet times, he was critical of the Soviet system. But he realized that he made a mistake. Now, a strong supporter of the Soviet Union, he considers Putin to be too closely allied with oligarchic interests. Or perhaps, that oligarchic interests at this point simply won’t allow their power to be taken away.
My comment: Russia is doing pretty well, and younger people don’t have the experience of life in the USSR, and most important–the media in modern Russia suppresses positive sentiment towards the Soviet Union.
A Tale of Two Presidents: What’s Actually Going On
Comparing Vladimir Putin with Franklin Roosevelt
Now, let’s take another walk down memory lane so as to compare two Presidents.
Both Vladimir Putin and Franklin Roosevelt came into office during a profound economic and social crisis
Both were opposed by powerful wealthy interests
Both found themselves having to fight a serious threat from ideological Nazis who had committed numerous atrocities
Both Vladimir Putin and FDR won the Presidency multiple times
Both were extremely popular, even revered by the people of the country
Both believed in Capitalism, but with some socialist characteristics, to benefit and uplift the people
Both were hated by the oligarch class, not just the Russian oligarchs, but just look at how Putin is treated by the Western Press, which, in case you haven’t figured it out, is run by and for the big wealthy banks and business owners.
It is well documented that the plan for the USSR and then Russia, was to break it up. They succeeded in convincing some corrupt Soviet leaders to break up the USSR. Yeltsin was chosen to facilitate the rape of Russia’s resources, on which the West depends, money addicts that they are. However, Putin put a stop to that. He’s a dictator….he dictated to the big money bags that Russia’s resources belong to the Russian people, not to Wall Street.
Likewise, in 1934, a cabal of wealthy business people—including Prescott Bush, father of George HW Bush and grandfather of President George W Bush—tried to enlist the service of Smedley Butler a war hero of the Marines. But Butler blew the whistle, blowing ‘The Business Plot’.

It is not an exaggeration to say that both men are World Historical Figures, who saved their countries from destruction. Both have been hated by the wealthy and powerful, whose political ideology is fascism, regardless of country or time
Fascist Plots Then and Now
Fortunately, the Business Plot was foiled (as the famous cartoon villain said, ‘Curses, foiled again’!) However, these same “Captains of Industry”, such as Prescott Bush, Henry Ford, and CEO’s of General Motors, IBM, Standard Oil collaborated with the Nazis during and into WWII. Roosevelt didn’t even have the power prosecute them for treason, nor to stop them from Trading with the Enemy
“It thus came as a severe shock to learn that several of the greatest American corporate leaders were in league with Nazi corporations before and after Pearl Harbor, including l.G. Farben, the colossal Nazi industrial trust that created Auschwitz. Those leaders inter¬ locked through an association I have dubbed The Fraternity. Some of you may have heard of Allen Dulles, founding director of the CIA. Here is a little info on where this guy’s sympathies lie.

Connection Between the OSS, CIA and Ukrainian Nazis

Discusses the events surrounding the February 2014 Ukraine Coup. It condemns the Russians, when it was Nazis, backed by the USA that staged the coup!
‘The key organization in the coup that took place here recently was the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists [OUN], or a specific branch of it known as the Banderas [OUN-B]. They’re the group behind the Svoboda party, which got a number of key positions in the new interim regime. The OUN goes back to the 1920s, when they split off from other groups, and, especially in the 1930s, began a campaign of assassinating and otherwise terrorizing people who didn’t agree with them.’
‘As World War II approached, they made an alliance with the Nazi powers. They formed several military formations, so that when Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941, they had several battalions that went into the main city at the time, where their base was, Lvov, or Lwow, it has a variety of spellings [Lviv today]. They went in, and there’s a documented history of them participating in the identification and rounding up Jews in that city, and assisting in executing several thousand citizens almost immediately. They were also involved in liquidating Polish group populations in other parts of Ukraine during the war.
‘the United States has been behind the Svoboda party and these Ukrainian nationalists. In fact, the US connections to them go back to World War II, and the United States has had a longstanding tie to the OUN, through the intelligence agencies—initially military intelligence, later the CIA.
Belligerence Towards Ethnic Russians Living In Ukraine
The above article accuses Russia of belligerence, when in fact, it was the US that sponsored the Nazi coup in Ukraine in 2014. The article itself admits it!
So finally, in the face of all this, Putin finally intervened to put a stop to Nazi atrocities and planned expulsion of the native Russian population. This was AFTER the Communist Party pushed through a resolution in the Russian Duma, or Congress, to support the Donbass people after 8 years of shelling and atrocities.
Likewise, FDR shared the view that Nazi ideology was a dangerous phenomenon. That is why he made common cause with the Soviet Union.
Conclusion
Both Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Vladimir Putin were reelected multiple times because the people recognized their service to the people. While both supported private enterprise, aka Capitalism, they also recognized the importance of supporting working people, ordinary people and families, which is a key feature of socialism.
Both faced virulent attacks from the wealthy and powerful, whose ideology is in fact fascist brutality and warmongering for profit, and for ‘culling the herd’. The ‘Golden Billion’, the oligarch billionaires and their compliant servants have total contempt for you and me. Always have and always will.
My observation is that many Russians simply didn’t understand the nature of the threat. And indeed, in a recent interview, President Putin openly admitted that he naively believed the promises that Western diplomats, and heads of State gave him.
Open Hostility and Russophobia Finally Awakened the Russian People
But the open hostility towards all things Russian has awakened the Russian people. They understand the stakes—the destruction of their country. That is why Putin won the election in a landslide.
The Western leaders in Europe, the UK and the United States severely underestimated Russia and the Russian people.
They thought that Russia’s economy was weak and would crumble under 15,000 sanctions, the most any country has ever experienced. Instead, it’s made Russia more selfsufficient.
They thought that Russian technology and industrial capacity could not maintain a war, forced on it following decades of threats and broken promises and continuous NATO encirclement.
They thought that the Russian military would collapse due to poor morale.
They were wrong on all counts. And now, sore losers that they are, they cook up all sorts of excuses and rationalizations for Putin’s dramatic overwhelming electoral victory.
The only question that many of us are asking, is how deranged and obsessive in their hatred of Russia—and indeed, their contempt for the rest of the world outside the US, and Europe, which is standing up to European and American bullying—are they?
European Insincerity Laid Bare
Germany was balking at sending anything more than helmets. Now they’re talking about attacking Russia with ballistic missiles. France can barely field a few tens of thousands of troops. It proposes to defend Ukraine, which is not even a Nato member!
And the UK, whose navy once ‘ruled the waves’ can’t even get an aircraft carrier out of port due to breakdowns. Yet the UK and the rest of them are determined ‘to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.’ And even attacking Russia directly themselves! The British cowards lurk in the shadows planning attacks on the Crimean Bridge and other terrorist acts. But all of them say, “We are not at war with Russia”. Really??
They still support the neo Nazi dominated, utterly corrupt Kiev regime. Finally, they show who they really are.
Can the coalition of Russia, China and their non Western allies stop Western hegemony without falling into the trap of a world ending WWIII? That will be Putin’s task going forward.
Can we in the West stop the powerful from starting wars while driving more and more of our own people into poverty? Every dollar spent on this cruel war in Ukraine enriches US warmongers, kills more Ukrainians, and takes a dollar away from solving our own serious economic and social problems.
Whether you realize it not, this is a war that’s been going on for at least 300 years. It’s not just a war against Russia, it’s a war against us! Good luck with the upcoming US Presidential election. Who will fight for us?
